I was kind of trying to give the idea of where like call of duty bases it off more than just North America, but people I think people like the top 100 thing. I just personally would like it to b More like how the lodestone does the front lines and it's mashing every datacenter together and shows for example players from mana then it will show right beneath aether and primal, but once again it was more of a question than a demand for it
Latency is a big issue if they merge all the data centres. People close to wherever they choose to locate the merged data centre would inevitably have an advantage over those who live farther away. Plus, I don't think it's possible to merge EU, NA and JP data centres. Though, they might be able to merge Aether and Primal, and the three JP data centres. However, I wouldn't say that I'm for it.

There is a lot of things they can do to make feast queues to pop more, especially at any time of the day.
A very enjoyable game I like to play is gwent, they have only one server for every player to play on so you can get a match at literally any time of the day/night but they separated the rewards to top xxx of region plus separate rewards for top 100, top 1000, top 10000 and whatnot.
Which makes grinding worthwhile but there are other tier of rewards available for all levels.
The main reason que always die near the end is also because the size of feasters.
The total of all feasters from all datacenter is maybe about same size of WoW's one battlegroup.
Yeah, nah, you guys would hate the ping that would come along with it. I know I would, I get 300 ping to the EU servers, and 150 to the NA ones.
Even more ppl would quit pvp if they have to play with 300 ping.
I still have nightmares from back when I started as a DRK on Gilgamesh and kept missing DA Carve and Spits... and this was when US DCs were located in Canada rather than California (the former of which, is geographically closer to Europe) and EU DCs weren't actually physically located in Europe.
Coming from aether to chaos purely because of latency, this is a bad idea - one data center would have to be the host and, ultimately , in top tier play (minus paid apps like wtfast, etc) one data center would always have the advantage.
