    I'll just pick one part out of here.

    Giving only WHM's teleport spell is a bad idea. The thing with FFXI is that not everyone had a WHM, and it took effort to get all the spells, and couldn't just switch your job onsite. This made that system work. With FFXIV however, it really takes not much time at all to get a WHM up and going, and everyone would eventually have the spell, being able to teleport themselves on the go. This would make the system broken. Try to convince me that the majority of players will not take advantage of this.

    My whole questions is why people want this to be exactly like 11 when it isn't. I'm against abolishing the anima however almost or even every time someone mentions giving it to a whm they always say like in ffxi when again this isn't ffxi this game is clearly ffxiv. Nor does the game say that it's an FFXI clone but a whole new game in on itself.

    While this game needs to base a lot of concepts from FFXI for their niche audience, WHM teleportation is not one of them.

    I could see them doing something like... Say giving you an anima gauge. It fills up to full every day(I think this would be fair, and would not make you feel like you need to take a week off sometimes to get anima ), but say...

    You could use it only twice if you are teleporting from a non-aethereal gate.
    Or you could use it about 4 times if you go to an aethereal gate.

    Possibly not allowing the use of teleing others with you... It is kinda lame when you can tele people to places they have never been... I more so had a problem with that when the game first came out. But honesty until zone revisions, they better not take or change this anima system. I am not walking across some of these maps.

    - Give WHM teleports back. (level 30 or something so people don't cry about it. They can just carry a WHM weapon around)
    - Leave Chocobos
    - Leave city warps
    - Leave Airships
    - Add Movement speed boots that stack with swiftsong
    - Add Chocobo armor that increases movement speed

    (The above is just my opinion on the subject <3 Let's hear yours)

    everyone would just lvl mage and have unrestricted teleports. unless there is a massive cooldown. in game now with a massive boring map, i like anima. i dont know how ill feel about it in 2.0.

    If you don't like anima, don't use it.

    I rarely get time to play FFXIV during the week, I do play for 4-6 hours on the weekend. I LOVE that I don't have to spend 1-2 of those hours running around on chocobo, If i'm going from uldah to drybone or horizon, i'll often take chocobo not anima, because I rarely let it drop below 50, incase I need to go to moogle or ifrit fast.

    If anything, I think anima should be purchasable. e.g. a mage stood by the atherytes in each city sells you 100 anima for 1million gil, perhaps also available in 25 for 250k, and 50 for 500k. (it should always cap at 100).

    Anima doesn't give any players any huge benefit over another, it just makes the game less boring. We need more gil sinks, i think anima could be a good one.

    its obvious that things wil change ], new maps = new teleport locations and smaller maps equal less. inthe cs for ifrit you see the guy destroy an ath, is that a sign of things to come. i have a feeling teleporting will be made more strict.
