Mod users in FFXIV are getting out of control

Just to clarify my own opinion, I think going after the modding community as a whole is not the way to go about it. Most people are discreet and go about their business. I am however a bit disappointed with some of the replies in this thread that are trying to blame the OP as if they've brought this upon themself whilst seemingly giving those who may harass a free pass.

The fun fact is this doesn't have to mean you're even naked. Boob Psysics exist no matter what. And some people simply RP like that and get to people like that which is sad but still doesn't say anything at all about any kinds of stuff they use or not.

Oh well yeah, that’s definitely a problem and totally not cool.

But yeah, I agree with the sentiment that mods aren’t the problem here. In that screenshot, it’s the creepy dude behind the tell that’s the problem. I feel like it’s possible to have those kinds of mods and not be obnoxious about it. Like, a modder who stays silent will literally affect no one.

Creepy thread. Sorry for your luck OP. There is definitely a line between players using mods for their own enjoyment/experience and pervs (won't even call them players) who'd rather harass naked digital characters in game.

Hard to say if I'd feel different about it in the same shoes, but at the end of the day you have to realize it's not you. It's really not even your character but as someone mentioned a representation of your characters appearance in general. You didn't actually get naked, right? It's not real. But the harassment part is, and that's the concerning part, that's what crosses the line regardless of whether mods are involved or not.

If you don’t like it, stay away from it. Yoshida even said that they can’t do much about it. PC users mod-they always have and always will. Get over it. Move on.
