Mod users in FFXIV are getting out of control

Haven't been looking too deeply into this type of harassment...



But I do recall seeing mention of it online somewhere.
As I recall...

Someone had a link in their ffxiv description linking to an outside page of some sort with nude mods.
And something about harassing someone else with them...

IIRC, the GM's got involved, reprimanded them, and told them to remove the offending pictures or suffer further account action.




Not sure how accurate this is as I'm going off of memory from just coming across mention of it briefly.

Forgot to respond to this: I believe the situation you are thinking of, was of a player on one of the JP servers. They had a link to their Twitter in their Search Info in-game, which had pictures of their character in revealing outfits and “lewd”/“questionable” positions (the ones I saw were more awkward camera angles—think up-skirts). I’m assuming someone went to their profile, got upset about it, reported them, and then a GM contacted them in-game. As far as I am aware, they never harassed anyone with lewd screenshots of their characters; their Twitter was primarily composed of pictures of their own character.
