Encyclopedia Eorzea Part II announced. It's gonna come with Matoya's Hat. Like other recent DLC items, it's gonna be one character per account again. Come on, SE.
Why pay standard subscription to be able to make 40 alts when MogStation items/DLC items with physical goods are becoming 1 item per character? Although this is great for business, this is very bad at building trust and relationships with paying customers. Come on SE, you can do better!
I get tired of this company always coming up with excuses not to do stuff- the price they charge per outfit is ridiculous. This is considering we buy the game, pay a sub, and buy expansions.
The outfits I could deal with, the minions...yeah that's fine, but the emotes being for only one character is what really made me realize how money hungry they are. Maybe I'm spoiled by other games making cash shop purchases account wide, but if they are determined to charge this much give it to every character on the account.
And the dlc/physical product items and stuff being for one character only needs to stop as well.

ridiculous, especially with how hard it is to get a copy of EE. i'm sick of the excuses. it makes no sense for physical items. I'm not going to buy two copies of EE to get the hat on both characters.
SE only acknowledges there is an issue. YoshiP seems to hate getting the question during LL aswell.
Maybe we should reword the question next time.
How will you fix your broken game to allow all items from the cash shop and physical items to be account wide?
I want to tell myself that question won't come up until they have an acceptable answer to it, but we all know it will come up, and we'll be told that there are several ways to fix it, they maybe even considered it, but time/resources/priorities/server hamsters.
It's something that needs to be brought up time and again until there is a solution. If they don't realize it's an issue, we have to make them understand it is. That's the only way we will see change.
And again, it's not that they can't find a way around the keys. They just have no interest in finding a way around it at present. They've found solutions around inventory management, glamour space, job issues, and tons of other problems in the game. The difference here is that real money is involved and that the pressure hasn't been added yet. Keep the pressure up and we are more likely to see actual responses.
The "keys" excuse is another one of those answers that I can't even take seriously.
Yeah I agree.
There are definitely ways to get around that problem likely...some in this thread have even made suggestions.
I know we don't know how all their internal systems work, but I am sure SOME kind of work around could be created. That is the lovely thing about computers and coding that there is usually some way to do something even if it is a bit roundabout.
