    Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    When did this first occur? Did anything change/update on your PC that coincides with this?

    Does this occur when you try to log in, or does it only happen in-game when you've been playing?

    Does switching to Directx 9 mode make an difference?

    There's no pattern or reason for it happening that I can see. Sometimes I can play for an hour or more with no issue. Other times, like yesterday, I'll get the error 5 times in a row in the span of 10 minutes.

    It first occurred a couple months ago. But only once, so I didn't think anything of it. The only thing I can think of that changed recently was the April Windows Update. But considering it happened prior to the update I can't see that as being the problem. There is also the fact that FF14 is the only game/program that this happens with would show that it's the game that's the issue. Switching to DX9 mode does nothing to solve the issue either.
