However! Being a mentor shouldn't mean that you spew everything you know (or think you know) on anyone else not wearing a crown. Just because someone is knowledgeable in one thing or another doesn't mean the whole world is interested in their input.
I have seen a few mentors meaning well, but absolutely missing the mark when they explain away a whole fight that everyone already knows, or try to teach mechanics to someone who knows them but missed one by accident.

And, of course, there are also players that like going in blind and learning on their own.

In short, nobody likes a know-it-all.
