Is it worth it to transfer off Balmung?

[Alaray]

I moved off Balmung, I still have some alts there, but the server I moved to had a higher population of friends and most of the team I raid with. So far, I've liked the move: Hunts are doable, houses are buyable, the community isn't too bad.

The only issue I run into with Cactuar is the botting situation, to be honest. But it depends what you want out of a server. If you're on the fence, rolling an alt and feeling out a server is probably the best idea, to be honest.

I like my small server on Famfrit, link shells and the FC I'm in make it plenty active for me and everything I personally want I can do on my server (buy a house, do hunts, make Gil, talk/run content with FC mates). I have an alt on Greg just because I want a character on the other data center and I figured I'd try out a larger server, I'm not very far or in end game on my alt and I haven't joined an FC, or particularly plan to, but the only real difference I see is more people running around in the open world.

Not everything is about balmung. Just move if u dont like it.

We had a FC member that would complain every chance they got when it came to moving off of Balmung, we had to kick them. Do not like that player do not do a blind transfer nor go based off the word of others. Roll an alt test the water interact with the community then make a call for yourself.
