    It doesn't take more then a minute or two type out a simple response like "We received your report, but concluded the player in question was innocent because *insert reason*." Also, it wouldn't necessarily benefit the botters to know what kind of behavior the GMs look for, as it's simply not possible to create a bot that can emulate a real player's behavior perfectly, particularly when it comes to their movement patterns which are unavoidably rigid and repetitive, coupled with the fact that they tend to remain online and active for inhumanly long periods of time.

    If other busy MMOs like WoW can take the time to respond my cheating reports (They'd actually tell me if they decided to ban a bot or not after I reported it and I got some ones that were initially glossed over banned after filing a second report with extra details), I don't see why XIV can't, too, unless their customer service is that woefully understaffed.
