I see what you mean, friend. Recently, I speculate the real problem is not the loot drop system, but they way loot is distributed. Boss 1 has this list of loot, boss 2 drops these items in particular, final boss has pants and chest piece. Accessories drop from random chests with a chance of getting some other junk.

See the problem? The gear drop is RNG, but the place where the loot drops is not. I am no math expert but having all loot drop randomly from any boss with no chance of getting repeats and having the final boss drop 2 pieces would be a better way to get things done. Making it more likely that loot from the jobs the party is doing the dungeon as would narrow down the RNG while still maintaining it, making it more tolerable to run the dungeon a bazillion times, rather than trying ones luck real hard for something.
