Reminder that grinding mobs is more efficient then running with the fate train for exp.

It's really not. I tried going with a buddy on launch day and we gave up after it took us ages to smack enough HP sponges to get the story item. I went back later on my own and joined a NM train to stand around and soak EXP and got to level 5 within less than an hour. Went back again and tried it "as intended" by forming a party of people around my level and smacking mobs, didn't even get to 6 despite going at it for over an hour.
The instance sucks no matter how you do it, NM is simply the most efficient way to go. I hope SE took all of the criticism to heart and made Pathos better for it.

Flawed as Eureka may be, I will happily take it over grinding old dungeons 5,000 times for Poetics. I want to actually play my jobs at level 70, not be synced back down to 50 where many jobs feel weak. Not to mention, there is only so many times you can be forced back into Copper Bell before you want to jump off a ledge.
...you literally do nothing for 75% in eureka but stand around. It doesn't matter how high level you are, you only need maybe 8 people out of the entire train to kill most pops. Once the boss pops, you barely use any abilities on them; its just straight dps. You can't even heal your party members, unless they are close in elemental level to the boss; it's just one or two hits. You can't DPS on many bosses if you are more than 6 levels away.Flawed as Eureka may be, I will happily take it over grinding old dungeons 5,000 times for Poetics. Eureka is boring as hell. Even the intended way is ridiculous; enemies have all of one mechanic one person needs to stun and the only real difficulty is whether or not adds that aggro spawn on top of your camp during night or weather. Soloing is just an endurance test, and is only feasible in a small way due to spamming anemos potions. It gives you carpal tunnel syndrome.
I'd rather do dungeons. In fact I do; i ignore eureka for the most part now. You might as well just have endgame gear from the gold saucer; you do more in gameplay with less waiting in there, and more risk.

Elemental leveling doesn’t matter for healing spells. Your healing spells will be the same at level 1 as they are at level 20.
You can’t save a level 4 from an NM like Poly, but your healing spells are not affected by them being level 4, or by you being level 4.

And yet I prefer Eureka to most low level dungeons. Why? Because dungeons in general amount to spamming one button aoes and running the same dungeons I have already partaken in for years now. Heaven help if the tank only wants to do baby pulls. I'm more bored doing those than AFKing in Eureka. Regardless, healing potencies aren't effected. So you can heal as you normally would....you literally do nothing for 75% in eureka but stand around. It speaks volumes the state of dungeons when I would rather do Eureka hence my point. There are a handful of them I don't mind, but I simply dislike losing half my skills because I'm being synced back to a level I would have been four years ago. At least Eureka has some potential going forward. Dungeons have only gotten easier outside leveling.

Perfectly summarized why, ppl asked for Relic content to not always involve old content in it and that's how eureka was born.Flawed as Eureka may be, I will happily take it over grinding old dungeons 5,000 times for Poetics. As Gaunter O'Dimm would say ppl ought to be careful about what the wish for, that said I don't like Eureka but I don't despise it either, I can actually see why some ppl would like something like that, which is what it's important in the end

I asked a question about this before, when they took them for the letter. I much would have rather BOTH systems be left in. The old for people that disliked the changes, and new for people who were tired of tomes.
