FFXIV with VR ability

Please SE please find away to allow people that have VR head sets to be able to play this game with them some how. Even if its just for gathering it would be so amazing.

I have edit this because alot of you seem to think I meant the whole game in VR NO I DID NOT MEAN THAT AT ALL.

Like said I Gathering would be amazing in VR having an option to be able to ether gather or craft items or even fish in VR would be amazing.

That make me feel a bit sad waiting for an amazing mmorpg for VR and if a company doesn't do a Sword Art Online game for VR as an MMORPG i would hope SE would do something.

VR would be fun for content like Ex Dungeons, where content is straight forward, but consistent in action. It's also be fun to look for AoEs by peering on the ground. I would try it, at the very least.

I suspect VR is a niche market and like 3D will never catch on big time. I just don't think resources should be devoted to accommodate a very small part of the player base who might actually use VR. There are a lot of other things they could spend time and money on that benefit the overwhelming majority of players.

MMO weren't a niche, MMO is a niche XD
it's nowhere near a LOL, DOTA, PUBG, CS, Overwatch or even a single player game. It requires a dedication that most ppl doesn't want to give. That is why i said it would be a niche inside a niche.
And I understand what you're saying, even though MMO is a niche its still lucrative. but let's face it, it would still be a niche inside a niche and VR is too new, almost none have it, FFXIV already don't have much resources i doubt they'll want to invest in something that will get just a little fraction of the playerbase.

Almost none so 1 million PSVR not including HTC VR and the Occulis rift can't spell it but i'm sure those have sold just as well as PSVR, how is that almost none?

Yes, but the average MMO doex not require you to lay down for a $300 peripheral device. Maybe in a few years, if the headsets become more reasonable so that the install base gets larger, but at this point, no matter how cool it would be, it simply would not be profitable enough to justify the cost of developing it.
