Odin's FATE and other Boss FATE

Yesterday I went for The Hunt party and suddenly someone was shouting that Odin'S FATE currently happening in Central Shroud. But nobody in the hunt groups really care to do Odin's Fate but rather we move to other region to hunt the next The Hunt bosses.

The problem is we don't really have any reason to do Odin's FATE or other big bosses FATE after we already get the rewards. Actually, for a very long time I have not seen people do Behemoth's FATE..

so, my suggestion is if we also can provide Seals by completing these Big Boss FATE like the Seals we get from the Hunt. therefore players are maybe interested to do these Big Boss FATE again..

I just did Behemoth's FATE like 15 days ago, there was like 50-100ish people there. Likewise Odin usually has many people as well. Though i agree, after i got my reward to make housing item and stuff, i don't see any reason to run them again. But i highly doubt they will improve anything related to ARR right now. Except for MSQ dungeons ofc. c:

Getting the killing blow on Odin has him take your form on the next spawn.
If that's not a reward worth working for, I don't know what is.

Just seems to be about the timing and who you get the word out to. Getting through HW, I see Coeurlregina pop once in a while. Usually way too late at night, with not enough time on the clock. But if I can get enough attention, usually a good handful of people still show up. But I'm not in any linkshells, so usually that takes some teleporting to major gathering points.

I think they should add themed glamour to each Boss Fate in order to keep them desirable. A weapon for each roll as well. That might help some.

My problem with Behemoth's fate is unless you know when he last popped there isn't a tell for him. So I'd like for his to change as he's a two parter without any weather clues. It would be nice if they did give some love to the world boss fates. Like have a small one time message pop up when it goes active or when you zone in. Obviously when they pop at low population times due to most people being asleep or at work the message would be pointless as not enough people would get there, but that's for just about anything in the game.

Every time I show up at a boss FATE that was called out, there are enough people that player characters start vanishing due to the amount of people(Odin and Ixion are especially bad for this).

isn't just a visible fate as long as you are in the zone? I've just been randomly teleporting to the zone and looking at the map.

Odin, Coeurlregina, Nocticulale(spelling?), and Ixion do not show up on the zone map. They do show up on the mini-map once you are close by though. They all also have special weather conditions that occur while they are up though, which serves as the first indicator that they can currently be found on the map. This doesn't let you know how much time is left on their FATEs until you find them though. The FATEs also have multiple spawn locations, so a bit of searching is sometimes required. Odin is the most frustrating because his special weather condition appears across all the Shroud zones, but his FATE will only be up in one... so it can take a bit to find him if not enough ppl are looking, shaving off precious time from the clock.

Behemoth does not have a weather indicator, but I believe the Behemoth FATE can be seen on the zone map though.

Can't remember about Tama-no-Gozen (spelling?) either. I know this FATE also has multiple spawn locations, but I can't remember if it has weather effect or if it can be seen on zone map.



Also, the user you quoted was referring to how the bosses will pop in and out of existence when there are too many PCs present. I'm not sure if the draw priority for them was ever fixed. Unfortunately the only workaround is to get closer to the boss, as draw priority seems to be tied to current proximity.

From what I remember(haven't done her in a while) there is no special weather, just a window for her to be open to spawning. She doesn't appear on the zone map either, since I remember flying all around that zone for the ~hour when her window was open for a potential spawn.

Join a hunt LS, they usually call out Zone boss fates.
