Returning to Game - Confused

Hello Everyone,

I know I'll get trolled but I don't mind. I am thoroughly confused about the game and how to effectively get back to leveling.

Is it Dungeons now that's the fast method or questing? I left off at Heavensward with several classes maxed but didn't touch the game after maybe the 2nd or 3rd HW patch.

I own stormblood but I'm so confused by where to go next and there's all these story quest gates so I dunno which will get me leveled up the quickest? Trying to prepare to catch up with old friends.

Just follow the MSQ and do whatever dailies are available to you.

MSQ for your first run through is plenty. Palace of the Dead is the fastest grind I think for others. I found daily roulettes and dungeons was plenty though.

Do main quest, do new player training hall if you need reminder of role and how they work. MSQ and challenge logs are normally fastest way to level along with dungeons or currently Palace of The dead.

Daily roulettes and main story quests. That's basically it.
From 60 to 70 just doing roulettes with only food. It took me a week to level a job.
You might want to unlock the dungeons you haven't done too and complete them too.

What I'm confused about is do I have to purchase Heavesward and Stormblood individually to add onto my already purchased Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn (PS4)? or do they come in a pack of DLC somewhere?

Why are they each retailing at around $39.99 like a full game?

Do I get a discount as an already subscribed owner of FFXIV:ARR?

Info I've found online is pretty varied, and I'm having trouble finding a straight answer outside of the sale info on SquareEnix's direct DLC sale site. (showing me I need to pay $39.99 for each Heavensward and Stormblood individually)

I would do whatever roulettes you're eligible for and if you want to speed the leveled dungeons close to your level. Main Story also provides a lot of experience as you move through the story. Personally I focus on one class and get it to end game then worry about leveling additional classes.

No, Stormblood includes Heavensward. They shouldn't even be selling Heavensward anymore.

Now that you mention it, I actually saw a physical copy of Heavensward at the store last week for like five dollars lol. But yeah, just get Stormblood and you're good to go.

If this is true then 1000 likes to you friend, i was about to purchase both as I couldnt find much info elsewhere about what was needed.
