How is it to work through the MSQ as a healer?

Is this variation in the Stormblood content? Because the only times I've seen myself (WHM main) asked to heal someone is a generic "Aid this person."
The exception to that is during my job quests. There, I have had parts where it's "cast Heal on so-and-so" or to pass a certain instanced battle keeping something alive is a main part (or healing it to full hp).

Yes. There's a point in the Stormblood MSQ where the game actually acknowledges that a healer WoL can in fact exist. Was pretty cool when I saw it, especially after so much "oh someone's hurt, I'll stand around like a doofus instead of acting like one of the most powerful healers in Eorzea that just kept the entire party alive".

Doing the MSQ as a healer is otherwise the same as doing it as a DPS, except slower. The solo parts are all still "kill stuff". It's in group play where you get to actually be a healer.
