On the 2nd point, I think at launch we couldn't use moves until animations finished playing out and it was super annoying and slowed things down a lot. Being able to cancel animations does speed things up and you could just wait for your animations to finish if it bugs you that much. I don't watch others fighting unless they want to show me their cool new WS or their damage so how others look doesn't bother me =P
It's not so much about speeding up combat, but what it's doing is rushing combat and it's ALREADY too fast. I played swtor for a couple of weeks and I enjoyed that you couldn't overwrite another skill by activating another as much as it is in this one. The visuals of this game are GREAT and the animations are so life-like.

Plus if you have rushed weaponskills, you'll end up almost like one of those mmo's where you have to hit 123456 as fast as you can to win. I know starting the combos will be what sets it aside, but overwriting animations for damage output just seems bad. I don't know, it seems more than just an opinion to me xD
