Lore: There are some places in Hingashi where even the Sekiseigumi have no influence. Rather, a secret order of warriors known only as “Dancers” rule in this underworld. Posing as itinerant entertainers, these Dancers ingratiate themselves to the local crime lords and proceed to steadily dismantle their minor empires from the inside with blade and guile alike. Their unique, almost magickal-seeming charm makes them the last to ever be suspected of such things, letting them continue their work unmolested.
In more recent times, however, the Dancer order has become fractured. Some Dancers have gone rogue, actively taking over the miniature empires they were sent to topple, combining their forces into a great coalition. When the gangs commanded by the renegades and those influenced by the loyalists meet in battle, the Dancers are always at the forefront, weaving magicks with their lithe movements and lightning-fast strikes to both embolden their allies and enfeeble their enemies.
