Complain when not know details, typical of forum yes, must complain not knowing detail because complain is way to resolve. Issue has been decided, must complain not know details must complain. I not like I must complain not knowing details, complain SE hear my complain and cancel all work they done did.

The details don't matter. It's the principle of getting something for nothing. In the end, those that play more often will stay far ahead of those that do not, making the point of rested EXP almost pointless.

If they want to reduce lag, they should simply implement a 30min inactivity shutdown.

That is not a solution to the lag problem... If they did that how would I sell all the stuff in my bazaar? I'd like to wake up from a nice long night of rest, go to work, come home and find that my character now has 99999999999 gil

The devil is in the details with things like this. People will always complain, but... is it going to make you rage if they get 10% bonus exp and it caps at 50,000 exp? What if it takes a 2 full weeks of inactivity to get capped on rested exp.. are you going to be upset with that?

Of course if you want to be argumentative like Rokien, you can just say 100 < 110 exp and keep this stupidity going.

Do the people opposing this realize that you will get a bonus for at least 6-8 hours when you go to sleep at night? Another 8 if you go to work? If you have the ability to play all day, everyday, you will easily surpass anyone who is inactive long enough to get substantial benefit from the rested xp bonus.

I just laugh at the complaints in the forums, because honestly... the English forums are a joke. It takes 20x longer to get a response from anyone, and every response is some trivial "We'll see if we can do this", "be patient", "we have big news coming". They are putting in rested EXP. They have decided. This lol English forum thread isn't going to change their minds.

You will never see a reason. This thread has served it's purpose and now deserves an honorable death.
