Yes, you're this rested xp is a great idea. I don't know why I leveled up at during the first year of this game. It was a pointless waste of time to participate in, given what we know now. SE does seem to have a trend of punishing those of us who have already leveled up.

SE "Hey, you got 50 in all battle classes! It took a while but you got there." "Well congratulations now what took weeks now takes hours, thank you for wasting your time!"

"Hey that's cool, you made +2 or +3 gear. Congratulations it's now +1 gear!"

"Awesome you did quests when they first came out! Congratulations now they give xp bonuses, thank you for wasting your time."

With rested xp we will simply be transferring more of these benefits over to crafting/gathering. With more changes on the horizon to make things easier; I really don't know why anyone would level up at this point. Come back in six months and you'll be able to simply log in at r50. No, no just log in and we give you 50 ranks!

Well there are a lot of factors to consider when you think about the future of the game. We'll just have to see where we end up.

So you say everyone should not get a bonus exp because they are logged off too long, but get less exp if they earn exp too fast like in the old days? ^^
