yes it does make sense.
we both know this game goes more into the casual direction unlike FF11.
so if a casual gamer doesn't have much time to play, he uses teleport more often and needs more anima.

However with Airships and Chocobos there's even less reason to actually port around. A casual player won't be playing for such extended periods of time that they'd use a ridiculous amount of anima and they would have more downtime to regenerate it.
Did you read the rest of my post?
So in your mind, a casual player who logs in in few a hours a week will just spam teleport all over the World? They don't do leves or look for parties apparently.
The point is a casual player will never be able to use 100 anima in a single sitting. If you did 8 leve's that would take around 40 minutes, that's 6 anima (city > camp, camp > camp) even doing that twice and porting back to town (no return apparently) it's only 14-16 anima.
OMFG logic, how did that get on the ffxiv forums.... wtf
Umm.. what is your definition of casual?
The side-quests are one time only. After you do the 64 side quests there are no more. A good number of them are low level and right outside the city...
Are you casual if you play for 6+ hours in a sitting? Not in my opinion
