Glamour plate not applying weapon when used

I am a level 60 BLM and currently have a staff equipped. I created a glamour plate that has a level 46 1 handed wand. When I apply the plate all the clothes change, but the weapon does not. It is a normal weapon you can buy from in town vendors. Can anyone help?

One handed weapons cannot be glamoured onto two handed weapons, pretty sure.

Iirc you can't glamoure one-handed weapons onto two-handed weapons and vice versa.

The reason is simple, you only can glamour weapons of the same kind.
One-handed weapons are not the same kind of weapon like two-handed weapons, also they are for the same class/job.
