There was a lot of crying about it when Yoshida hinted at it before, then people got over it and when it's implemented people will get used to it just like people thought Goobbues were the best things ever and 2 weeks later you're back to seeing chocobos more than Goobbues for transportation.

I think it's an awesome mechanic. For those who don't know, it's being implemented to balance out PvP for 2.0. Might as well get players used to this feature now.
It's been discussed to death as you've already noticed.
I have caught myself SO many times where I was casting something and I got hit by something because I was stuck. DAMN YOU pom flare using King.
Personally I like the idea of hitting the spell again to cancel it. But it's coming i'll live with it
I've had mulitple times where I noticed my aero didn't combo and when I notice that my aerora will AoE, I hit the spell again and it doesn't cancel it but asks me which one I want to target.
Same with a lot of thm spells. I know this is more of a latency issue, but it's still one xD
