    Movement, Spell Interruption, and Instant-Cast Spells?

    Starting in 1.21, movement will cancel spells. How will this affect instant-cast spells like Thundara and Blizzara? Will we have to stop moving, wait for the server to acknowledge we are no longer moving, and then cast them? I hope not, as that seems a bit harsh with the current server lag.

    I could not find a dev tag for this specific issue.

    they are istant, you don't need to stop to cast him. Btw with animation lock you'll stop in every case :P

    +1 for thinking about this before posting. They are instant, you stop when casting them either way. There is no "cast time" like the other spells so you can run and then use it.

    Yoshi-P said in his long post on movement interruption that instant-cast spells won't be interrupted. Mages should be getting more of them in the future as more emergency escape button options.
