    Extend auto-demolish

Instead 45 days, can dev team extend the auto-demolish to 90 days of inactivity? I have some friends who cant pay for the sub for 1 month because too busy, I think 90 days is a good idea. Even because there are a lot of free plots in my server (Lamia) I dont know about other servers.

If it's just 1 month it wouldn't auto demo. If the house is important just stay subscribed. Subscriptions are so cheap. I don't understand why people sub/resub every other month. Just stay subbed. If you don;t want to stay subbed, then losing stuff seems pretty realistic to me.

As you said, if it's just a month they should still have time to resubscribe and enter their house (remember the entering the house part, that's what resets it).

As a limited resource I feel it should get released a month and a half of inactivity. I can completely understand not wanting to give it up, especially if you got a really nice plot and spent a ton of time/gil decorating. This game's dev team and/or corporate deigned limitations have dug their feet in about changing to something more viable and customer friendly though, so until the unlikely event of them changing their minds, we need the timer to continue at a reasonable rate for active players.

IMHO While I personally agree it could be longer but if we think about it in a fair sense i think it should be shorter.

The system is there to remove un-used houses and if you don't play then you shouldn't hoard a house.

They SHOULD put it on hold til they get their billing issues worked out... but 45days isn't a bad cap usually... especially when they pause it for major catastrophes

If your friends only need to take a break for a month, then 45 days is more than long enough for them to get back in the game and enter their house to prevent auto-demo.

If they hadn't entered their house for more than 15 days prior to taking that month break, then it sounds like they weren't actually using the house and it should go to another player that would be actively using it.

I lost a house to auto-demo when I had to take a break from the game last year but better houses go to those who are actively playing and using them than to players who had nothing better to spend their gil on then never bother using the house once purchased.

Considering apartments have no auto-demo and people have found ways to increase living space in them using the loft glitches, an apartment is a good alternative for someone who needs to take breaks if they actually use their housing when they're able to play.

I feel that as long as a person is subbed they should keep their house. If they end their sub then they have 45 days after the last days to resub or the house will automatically demo.

I know a lot of military that are sent out on duty for months at a time. They can easily keep an active sub for a game they aren't playing during those months, but getting some one else to log on and enter the house is not only a security risk but maybe against the TOS.

    Nothing as such.

They're talking about this maintenance where there's maintenance for nearly three weeks on card/Paypal transactions.

But that's not a constant maintenance, it just means it'll be unavailable at times throughout the maintenance period.

So unless someone is leaving their house to the last hour of their 45 days before they try and renew (and that happens to coincide with maintenance going on right then), it doesn't really affect anything to do with housing demolition.

    No.

45 Days..an entire month and then some...is more than enough.

There are a few easy ways to deal with this.

    Stop making housing worse.
