    Bahamut Damage Visibility

    Hey all, Im loving SMN but there's a little pet peeve I have with it; you can't see Bahamut's damage numbers very well. They're kinda hidden in the background, I really have to fish out which one may be from Bahamut.

    Makes me have an uncertain "yay?" moment with Ahk Morn when I see a little red 22k in the background, instead of it just feeling awesome like with Deathflare.
    So I'd like to suggest being able to see Bahamut's damage just like normal attacks.

    Again nothing too bad but it would be really nice to have a better way to monitor his performance on the fly!

    Not really an option for me, I have to play at a lower screen res to help performance on my system since it isn't really the best. More than one chat window kinda obstructs alot of view- besides, it just feels better to see damage pop up directly rather than checking them in a window.

    This is an annoyance of mine with the general nature of pet floating text numbers. I'd love to at least have the option to choose if it could be as visible as regular damage (in the cases where all the pet damage would be overwhelming in AoE).

    hate that too..., besides the fact, that Demi-Bahamut wont cast when following you around

    could still use some QoL changes.

    Visible flying text pet damage would also be great for Machinist, especially for things like Overload.

    I agree as well. Being able to see clearly my Bahamut's Wyrmwaves would help a lot in optimizing my rotation in the actual fights. Not to mention the visual gratification.

    I just assume it's doing huge damage, but ya a better visual que would be nice. Now if only they could make bahamut locked to his position so he doesn't follow u around that'd be cool to, he has 99 yalm range ffs.

    also wierd, that garudas contagion debuff is no longer visiable, when Demi-Bahamut is out (or when you switch to ifrit)..

    Smn as too many "visual" issues, the Devs should really pic up on these..

    these issues (visibility of Wyrmwave, Demi-Bahsmut not casting when following you around, Contagion not being visible anymore when summoning Demi-Bahamut or Ifrit) have been an issue for a whlie and shouldn't be too hard to fix..

    since they don"t really need any job / dps "changes or rebalancing" as such, just visual tweaks.., ok, except when Bahamut follows you instead of casting, but that itself doesnt require rebalancing of the class..

    Contagion is no longer visible after successful application when a pet swap or a Summon Bahamut is performed due to the second bullet point here covering Contagion visibility. It's still visible as long as you have focus target around. If it's not on your focus after applying, then the summon/swap was done too quickly for Contagion to resolve.
