There actually IS a removal password for the physical token. I have one, and when I put it on my account, the password was displayed on the screen, and I copied it down.

That being said, I have no idea where you would input it if you wanted to remove the physical token from your account. I logged in to have a look around (which of course you couldn't do if you didn't have the token in the first place) and if you start the removal process, it asks for the serial number from the back, and for the six digit code you get if you push the button. I don't know what happens after that--maybe it wants the password, and it would be great to know one way or the other--because I didn't really want to remove my token and have to order another one! Maybe if you have to contact support, the password just makes it easier/quicker for them to remove the token?
