Hello Eledra, Thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums

Can you elaborate on the kind of disconnect you are having?

    Please provide:

    - Platform (PC, PS4, Mac)
    - Type of connection (wired or wireless)
    - Other programs running while the game is playing (if any)
    - Where you are booted to after disconnect (Desktop, Start Screen, Character Select)

    Hope to be of assistance.

    Hello Ariellendera.
No it is not problem with connection, bud with game performance. If restart my PC i get normal play with 60FPS. Bud after sometime i log and start play again after log game my FPS drop to 6-10Max and game is near unplayable. Proble is somewhere in game, because before 7.3.2018 this problem don't occur. Only hw change is cable modem, and this is changes at 8.3.2018. No software changes, then something in game don't work as should its.

Ok, this may sound silly, but is your machine a new build?

I'll just add to this by saying I have the same issue, instead of starting a new thread because it might be the same problem.

Last week I played with no problems at all and this week my fps dropped to 3-7fps from the moment the game connects to data server.
It's not an internet issue, i've checked that and I reinstalled the game and downloaded it with 11MB/sec.
If i reboot and turn FFXIV on really fast before i do anything else on my computer it works for about an hour, then my fps drops from 100-150 back down to 6.

My CPU is i5-6600K GPU: GTX970x2 in SLI Ram: 16GB, 1 SSD and 1HDD (game is installed on my HDD)

It's not a new build but it still does the job, I've been playing and enjoying FFXV without any issues (low-average graphics settings).

Thanks in advance for the help.

I noticed FPS drops in another game as well, League of Legends also drops frames for me.

The previous tests were with CSGO and FFXV and they did not drop frames.

For now i tried deleting my browsers (complete uninstall and reinstall) and that worked last night. Cannot confirm that this has solved my issue completely but FFXIV ran fine with good FPS last night, will try again tonight and update this post.

Thank you for the update Eledra.

I would suggest trying a clean boot. Simply open the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC.

Make sure you do not have any other programs running in the back ground when you start the game, even if you don't think it will have an impact on it.

Also, if you have any anti-virus/firewall software, make sure that there is an exception for Final Fantasy XIV.

We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!

    Hi Einmimiria.
Problem is i already tried every thing that you suggested, with no change my primary problem. Starting page (Start, Datacenter, Configuration, Exit) i can check that FPS is 90-120. After log to my character FPS is around 60, only if this is first loging after PC restart. If i try next day FPS drops to 6-10 and that's is unplayable.
My PC is few weeks old and i tested it with programs to see that processor, RAM memory, all HDD (SSD HDD for OS, black series WD for game and other two for data) and other thing is in perfect condition and no compatibility problem. OS is Windows 10 PRO 64bit and all patch/driver/firmware is latest. Problem with FPS drops start 7.3.2018 and i need restart PC every time for normal play FFXIV. I don't know what else to try, bud i hope for fix this problem, because i love FFXIV.
