Three most recent post by King Canadane, Rinuko, and Avatre all are the reason I created this Canadane, you hit the nail RIGHT on the head, I mean c'mon I can't be the only one am I? Then again, I AM one of those "few" who actually enjoy PVP, but maybe this makes me a white knight? Nah, I think it's just my opinion, just like all the "oh noooo I'm leaving" opinions out right now. I just wanted to throw some light back into this forum. I mean one day I went back 3 pages and each page had a "why I quit", so there it is guys and gals. I'm sure I don't speak for myself when I say I just needed a breath of fresh air in here.

I have been here since Alpha , except for a short time i had to leave due to real-life reasons.
Are there things that I do not like ? Sure, but i just do not spend money on them or take part in them. I do not need to make a 'I am a special Snow Flake" thread about it.

I plan to stay till the see swallows the servers, and will just enjoy my time in Eorzea.

I think people are just frustrated and want their voice heard. I mean I normally sub 180 days (it unfortunately just renewed a month or two ago) but with the current lull in the cycle I decided to do what Yoshi said and play other games....

Those games really did kill FFXIV for me, really. Seeing such smooth and responsive servers, fun content, more endgame/raiding focus... there was really no contest.

I am sure I may start to continue to check in casually like many do and just play the story but as a game its failed. SE needs to take a step back and switch gears, rejuvenate the content and cycles and put less focus on vapid glamour/housing stuff. Trying to enforce 100% positivity is masking these issues that are growing every patch.

This game doesn't have any lasting stuff on here to make me warrant staying subbed til the very end imo. FFXI has a multitude of content and stuff to do that imo makes FFXIV look like a anime, when one season is over, a new season begins and then as quick as the season started, it's the series finale. That's how this game is imho. Love the game, but not enough to make me stay subbed after they release their final expansion or storyline finale arc (ala ffxi rhapsodies style).

But nice clickbait though dude. If you would've added a little more twist to the bait it would be front page worthy but it's not as bad as some of the other ppl's clickbait topics on here. Good job tho. 7/10 GG.

Comparing FFXI isn't fair as it been out much much longer. However if we are going to compare expansion to expansion then i would say XI did offer more content (Sky, Sea, dynamis) as Aht Urghan was the 3rd expansion im not mentioning those system and endgame content.
