Not sure how the moon would work on a female character, from an eastern point of view. Traditionally the moon is personified as male. But that doesn't mean all that must in the grand scheme of things.

I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.
This is false. The truth is that it's inconsistent. In japanese mythos, you're right, but chinese and korean is different. It's uncertain tbh but since Yotsuyu is being shown prominently in the teaser poster, it points to the primal being related to her. Also, we already had a unique primal battle (Susano), similar to Ravana from HW. I think the rest of the primal released from this expansion will be FF related. We haven't had more than 1 unique primal in HW, so unlikely to have another new unique primal, hence my Asura prediction. Not sure how the moon would work on a female character, from an eastern point of view. Yin is the negative/passive/female principle in nature, and may allude to many other concepts e.g. the moon, shaded orientation, something covert or concealed
Yang is the positive/active/male principle in nature, and may allude to many other concepts e.g. the sun, open, overt, and "belonging to this world".
Yuna was the moon to Tidus' sun, as reflected by their color schemes, personalities, and their respective celestial crests and sigils.

Of which they are that entity in name only. The ravana and susano-o (not even the same name) from their respective games are completely different, as much as Shiva is completely different from the Hindu god, and bahamut isn't a planet sized turtle
I meant "traditionally" from the perspective pf our modern times, ie when we think of something related to the moon, japan, and gods we think male, coupled with the fact we have Susano who was the moon gids brother. But as I said, that has no bearing on anything Menphina is a Moon goddess.
Also, I agree with the Yin and Yang, but I'd say masculine and feminine. By your own admission, it's not as easy as claiminf something will be male or female.
Also it could be an inverse using anima and animus. Yotsuyu being female has an animus, and animus is male, so thats an interesting way of looking at it. Though, at the same time Asahi would have an anima, and anima is female. But then again we have anima with anima weapons, and why not use the actual Anima, lol.

I like that idea of Fordola, Zenos and Yotsuyu being Asura. But how would that happen in terms of lore?
Would they all need to die first and be "ressurected" as one as Asura?
That would seem to be unlikely to me. But then maybe Zenos' apparent resurrection could have something to do with it.
It could also be the 3 personalities of Yotsuyu. Her original self, her sadistic side, and her innocent side.
As for the fusion (which would be ****ing cool!), somehow they're in the same room and the mirror reacts to their surge of emotions and aether and they merge into a single entity. Asura could be a primal that reacts to emotion and her aether and essence is stored in the mirror. So when 3 people with powerful emotions of joy/sorrow/anger are in close proximity, the mirror resonates/reflects with Asura's essence of those 3 emotions, and thus she merges with the aether of the 3 and is born. Lakshmi's essence was "dreams", and Susano's essence was "Revel".

I like this more to be honest. Yotsuyu struggling to come to terms with multiple personalities, somehow reflected back at her through the mirror.
Lets say she smashes the mirror, into three pieces, and releases the aether contained within it...
