I wanna play an AST, is it best to level as a WHM to start off with to get used to healing, or just level as a DMG class then switch over, I kinda like what AST can do as a whole and the looks of the class as it is.

Just make sure to run dungeons to lvl up AST and not just fate or potd spam, get some proper experience in.
Should be more or less fine, not much to learn pre-30 as conj anyways.
If you've never healed before in any form of MMO I would recommend getting CNJ up just so you can develop the basics of how healing will work.
If you have healed in other MMOs before and used to the stress and dynamics of healing, I don't see any reason why you can't just jump right into AST. Just make sure to give all the tooltips a go over before jumping into any dungeon.
Thanks, I've never been a full-time healer, I'm pretty good at support and switching between and i hope I do my very bestIf you've never healed before in any form of MMO I would recommend getting CNJ up just so you can develop the basics of how healing will work.

Really you can do whichever you find more fun, but a healer will give you better queues, and CNJ/WHM experience is relevant to playing AST.

I love AST and can be a great job as long as you master the arcane card set properly. WHM is the most basic one to learn if anything, complete different way of playing. Just remember if it's not fun, it's not worth playing unless your just doing achievements out of boredom -.-/
Levelling CNJ also gets you a unicorn mount.![]()
