I figured the inn would be in the adventurer's guild... since there's actually an inn there. There's even a NPC you can talk to that could theoretically give you entry.

I think what a lot of people aren't noticing is that they have made it so you have the option to level slow or level fast as you see fit. If you want to get to fifty in no time, you can. If you like to take your time, you can easily solo, duo, or trio grind and do just that. The freedom is there to play it how you want too. The xp bonus that comes from logging out in an inn just adds another layer to that for the people that don't play every single day. And frankly, considering how god awful the crafting system is right now to level, I welcome anything that helps me push through the level 30-50 stretch for the crafting jobs. Watching an entire season of 30 Rock on netflix just to distract myself from how mind numbing hitting the x button is 80,000 times to get from 25-26 carpentry shouldn't be the answer folks. I can't tell you all how many of those little crafting xp boost scrolls i had purchased on my old char from my grand company just to speed things up a little when crafting.

Also, I completely agree that they need to make the inn a real place in the city. Although, given the fact that its only temporary until we get player housing, I have the sinking feeling its going where everything else they create in 2 seconds does: Right in the market ward entrance.

It does, the entrance is at each respective adventurer's guild. Just check out the map legend.

I'm rather disappointed SE didn't come up with anything more original than rested exp. I guess all the people compalining about it were right after all.

So we're getting better results in crafting by NOT paying attention and now we're also going to get a bonus for NOT playing the game. Yay.

No, the inns are going to be based out of the inns. (imagine that?)

It already had a "more original" system. It didn't work. The same for most of its other "more original" systems.

Original doesn't always turn out to be better.

The "bonus for not playing the game" is merely intended to allow those players that cannot be as active to be at less of a disadvantage.

It's basically the old fatigue system, reworked to appear as a bonus to players who don't play as much instead of a punishment to those who play too much.

WoW did the same thing- When it was a "penalty", everyone complained, but when it was a "bonus", everyone was happy (and didn't even notice that not much really changed)

A quick fix until the 2.0 redesign.

I'm going to assume/hope that Market Wards, Inns, and GC Halls will be more realistically integrated into the new city maps.

Adding anything more than tacked-on content to our current maps/world is a waste of time for the devs at this point - I'd rather they make it look good for the re-release.

Rested exp is not making me happy. We don't need it, I know plenty of people whom got all 50s in a few months. That's hardly any time for an MMO. As I've said many times, they just need to give us an exp ring again. I'm ok with that, because its available for everyone.
