    Lol whether scythes are their own thing or not is irrelevant, I was just spit balling an idea so you can maintain some semblance of title uniqueness no matter which weapon spec you are. And I don't understand why people don't like the stat bonus idea? Its a sound system. If you're a dark knight/gladiator you're going to be stronger than a paladin/gladiator, the stat bonuses give you that

    I still like the idea that you get bonuses from the skills you have equipped based on the stats needed for that skill.

    I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders.     Okay I've rethought my stat bonus system. On the gird when leveling your tier one of the bubbles (I'm using sphere grid as it seems we're all famkliar with it) wil be "+2% strength" is that acceptable?

    Oh and carpe I was wondering...could you modify your list so blood weapon is a regular ability. I was always so pissed at drk's 2hr. To me drks 2hr should've been something that increased your attack so every regular hit, hit like a WS. Lol they fixed drg but never fixed drk, what a shame.

    Assuming we are still using the potency idea. Where certain classes and titles affect the potency of abilities or spells.

    Lets take Drain for instance. It's a Thau spell. It favors Dark Knight and Black Mage titles, while favoring the thaumaturge class. So in order for you to reach optimal potency for said spell (Which is an enfeebling spell) you'd have to be DRK/THM.

    But you don't want to use wands as a Dark Knight....that's just not very...well...Dark Knight-ish. Just make the grid system (Where you are specializing in enfeebles) alleviate some of if not all -potency from specific enfeebling spells.

    So this way you are gaining full potency while still using Scythes, Swords, etc. While other death knights (Ones specialized in weapon damage, etc.) still suffer from the - potency when using this ability, unless they want to sacrifice the weapon abilities from Scythe, Sword, Axe for more enfeebling on a specific fight by switching to a wand. (Where you wouldn't have to because you went down the enfeebling path on your grid.)

    Just my take on it.

    Right, you've once again voiced my thoughts better than I can lmao. Lol, I was just sorta syked about having title specific weapons but I. Think if they did end up doing that, it should be when you've mastered the title. I.E. master dark knight can use scythe regardless of equipped weapon specilization.

    And yeah, stat bonuses for enfeebling branch could be a int%
