    REAL windows

    Can we have a realtime window wall adjustment where we can choose to replace a wall with a window to be able to see what goes on outside of our house?

    I believe having windows that show who's inside/outside of house would improve flow of property, meaning people will be more likely to enter a house or exit it if they notice people gathering nearby

    The inside of a house is instanced while the outside is not. Based on that I'm not sure this would be possible.

    Actually no, SXTC. I think there are some things even if they like, they cant do it because maybe it's impossible to programming or even because server could not support. I'm not a game dev, I dont understand computer programmation, but there are a lot of unknown variable that could delay a content or a content dont exist because x and/or y reason

    When you're inside your house, there is - at a programming level - no outside there to be seen through the windows. You haven't gone through the door to the inside of the structure in the housing ward, you've been teleported to a disconnected room that is only theoretically the same place.

    That said, they could do a little more with their windows than just daytime/nighttime. Reflecting the actual weather in the housing ward would go a long way - it's rather jarring to move from a rainstorm in the Lavender Beds into my house where the sunlight is streaming through the windows... just a different "overcast daytime" light setting would help.

    they can't even manage to increase the amount of items you can put in the garden, and now the servers should load the inside of 30 houses in the ward with approximately 7300 items inside?

    this will never happen.

    but pretty please add the entrance hall of the apartment buildings to the map of the housing district. the loading screen and the fact that you can skip the entrance hall and go directly inside the apartments makes the hall pretty empty and useless :\

    I understand its diffirent technique but as I've seen software developpers do before... sometimes they bridge software to work in sequence... To say SE can't do it would be a wrong thing to say since those guys are brilliant at what they do. If they can implement it without losing uneccessary time and money however is another thing so I understand that this Idea might be a no go area. Just thought I'd mention hoping I can help improve this community.

    the first reply is correct, the house is an instance. I doubt you could ever look at the outside in real time, but there's no reason not to have big windows with a nice view (even though it would be a "fake" one). The inn at shirogane has an interesting take on the concept as well.

    That is actualy where I based myself on. But it would indeed be more inviting to be inside if you saw more nature and maybe more light falling in (if they created a fake light that looked like sun/moon shining on the inside). I know people like to spend more time in the garden, maybe this way it can be combined (that feeling).
