Could we get some quality of life changes to gardening?

In the click fest that it is to tend all 8 crops in a garden plot (24 crops for a large house), you can sometimes skip over an individual crop by accident, but there is no way to know that you actually missed a crop until you come back the next day and see it wilting (except for FC houses, it is in the FC log...but that is a really inconvenient way to check).

What they should do is add a 4th crop status, which is "recently tended" (giving us: recently tended, good, wilting, & dead). That way as you are tending your crops, there is no uncertainty on which ones still need to be tended too.

And while they are at it, it would be great if they also added a visual indicator to crops that were recently fertilized so that we don't have to click on each crop individually.

Not all garden plots have the scarecrow and yes there are some of us sick enough of looking at it to use smaller gardens.

Don't a lot of the smaller ones still come with props? I thought one of them had a watering can or something. It would be anything attached to the plot itself, not just the scarecrow.

And lets be honest, I'd be using one of the smaller ones just for vanity if I didn't want all 8 slots of the large plot for cross breeding. I had the clunky-to-work-with square, and the raggity scarecrow. ;_;

Or let us assign a botanist retainer at our garden and let him take care of it (watering and fertilizing) paying X amount of venture coins per day.

Honestly it would be super nice to be able to employ retainers for other things, like gardening, stablekeeping, chocobo training, etc.

I would be very happy if SE could eliminate the hundreds of useless clicks I have to do every morning and evening as a first step.
I don't need an extra info that the crop is ready to be harvested, I'm not blind, I don't need to confirm my confirmation, etc.

Gardening reduces the life span of my mouse drastically.
