Using tornado kick when you know for sure sure you are going to lose it is probably around that 200-300dps increase.

These guides have constantly been proven wrong by the very same people that made them. The guides simply discourage the use of TK because how much of a DPS loss it could be if done wrong, but in the Balance discord the same guide writers actively tell high still level Mnk players to use TK.

You will never get 200-300 DPS using TK as an "ender". You're forced to lose greased lightning like twice in each fight, if that.

You could also simply check FFlogs and see for yourself how much more DPS the people using TK 6-8 times in a fight are getting compared to those who aren't.
