Everyones playing FFXIII-2?

IF anyone has a wii and likes games Hironobu Sakaguchi has been involved with then the last story looks very intresting.
My own view is that there something about the way he works on games that has that magic touch, lost odyssey had that same feeling as some of the older final fantasy games had.
Anyway what i like about final fantasy atm is that maybe some new fans are enjoying the games, it has almost that next generation feel about it , at least final fantasy 13 does.
ff14 has a different feel from 13, (some designs look similar to final fantasy 12) with vs which will probley get changed into final fantasy 15 that has another feel to it that closer to a final fantasy 7/kingdom hearts type game from what i have seen of it so far.

I hope 14 can really turn into something good, atm it a way to go but enjoying it for now and see no reason not to support it if i enjoy it.

Yeah, I was looking at Last Story, the cover looks so much like something from a classic FF, unfortunately there's no word if there will be an NA release.

The thing about the "new fans" comment though, if they want to make changes that are too drastic to the series they should give it a new title.

A game franchise should make games for the group that has been loyal and supported it and not go for new fans. If they want new fans they should make a new game, even leave FF in the title like they did with tactics. And they're wrong in the idea that people want "Next-gen" gameplay, just look at the PS1 classics on psn, they've sold hundreds of thousands copies of the old FFs that people already owned, it's because THAT's what people want.

And as far as FF15 comment goes, modeling it after FF7 wouldn't be a bad idea, modeling it after kingdom hearts would ensure that I won't buy it. That was my biggest turn off about 13-2 Noel looks like a character out of kingdom hearts. The first one came out when I was about 10 and I even thought it was gay then, they should not use disney characters/elements in FF, it's like using the teletubbies there's just nothing right about it.

You haven't even tried the game and you're complaining about it. Loyal fans of the franchise are in their 30s and 40s and FF brand desperately needs to attract new customers.

FFXIII-2 is awesome! Way better than FFXIII and even to the best FF games ever made! It does make up for the lack of "RPGness" of FFXIII! ^^ I'd easily give it a 9/10. ^^

IMO SE should've renamed it to "FFXIII+2" because it does is a high quality game! =P

I'll acknowledge that it is better than XIII but, players will have to

pay for the real ending from the extra DLC episodes soon.

You'll find out once you reach both endings of the story.

I'll get The Last Story rather than FFXIII-2. Don't like FFXIII/XIII-2 univers or characters. The battle system is .... annoying.

From SE, i'm looking forward to Bravely Default, seems to have a much more Final fantasy touch than any of the last Final Fantasy with a number @@

When i first saw kingdom hearts just before i got it i was thinking what the heck is this game, this idea is crazy then i played the game and was like omg this game is amazing.
For me sora was great to follow his journey , i can understand how alot people became confused with the 2nd game but it one of my all time best games that i tried.
And its action based gameplay was fun even though i like the old turn based final fantasy games as well.

some people want the old gameplay , some want new , for me i want a balance of both.

I'm almost near the 'end' and i have to say that the game is very nice and way better (in all departments) than 13. Also i liked the story so far.

Who cares about what reviewers say. They're not the end all and be all in games. It should be people who make their own opinion and decisions for the game or would people rather let someone else do their own thinking for them?
