    Improvement Suggestion for Retainer Management

I hope my improvement suggestions will be heard by FF14 Development Team:

    1. Ability to reorganize the retainers list:
I want to be able to reorganize the order of my retainers in the list that I appears before I summon the retainers. The game currently has no option for doing that. Right now I am emotionally refraining to hire more retainers with the class I want because I would not like the order of retainers that would appear.

    2. Changing retainer class (Combat)
I think we should be able to change the combat class of a retainer without resetting its level to 0. I understand for gathering classes, because the items that they gather are different. But the items we gather for combat classes are the SAME. I think we should have freedom to explore combat classes and not be tied down by retainers because have to reset the level of the combat retainer to 1.
For example, I have WHM 50 and Retainer is WHM 50. Then I level up WAR to 60, then if we want to change the retainer to WAR, we should not start all the way from lvl 1. If you are afraid that when we change the retainer back to WHM and it will be at 60, then you can just set the retainer lvl to our class lvl, for example, change the retainer level back to 50 if my WHM is at 50.

It's too clunky to me to go there every 1h to send it so it can level up. So I end up using only field exploration, it takes too long, and it's the only way to level up it.
There's no fun in reseting retainer class/job to 0, they definetely should just change without level reset. And don't even come to me with lore issues, because them aren't even suposed to equip Job Soul Stones or equip my Anima Weapon.

I don't know why they think it's a good thing to add content that will make us feel bad.

Once I was leveling a retainer to lvl 50, it took me a lot of time, then I wanted to change it to SAM, but it was already on NIN, I thoght that we would be able to level SAM as a retainer since lvl 50, but no, reset to level 0.
OMG, it does not even make sense, they don't use Job Soul Crystals, why does they need to have base class to level 50? It's like they are trying to force us to but the potions to level up the retainers, and these are complete unfair to me too.

They need to simply separate the Market from the retainer. All the menu-hell is driven by the fact that you have X many retainers, thus have to keep pulling them up and sending them back to change things. Just make one market interface, assign one retainer to it, and let them sell anything "in the store inventory". Then do the same with the retainers, make them have one unified inventory page, and can drag and drop stuff between them, and your inventory, and the chocobo saddlebag from one screen. To make things better organized have a "unified sort" which lets you tag a retainer with certain items (eg CUL materials go here first.)

Also, make it so retainers can be shared between characters on the same server, and share the same house. Don't let equipment bound to another character be removed by another character, but otherwise everything else is fair game. That would of course require the game to actually check ownership of items and not merely check for "this item is bound to you". To avoid cross-character theft, also require a pin to activate/deactivate the retainer/house sharing when service accounts are used by other local players (eg family members.)

And if you really want a QoL improvement, allow summoning them anywhere inside your house/apartment, so you can do all your crafting in one place, and thus you have access to of of their materials without having to summon and unsummon them to find the items you need. Just bring up the crafting menu and tick a "include materials from retainers", now it's much less annoying.
