    No South American countries allowed to participate in the DPS gear design contest?

    I'm sorry if I'm being dumb or just blind, but in the list of countries allowed to participate in the DPS gear design contest there's no South American countries other than French Guiana.

    If I am correct, why keeping those countries out? I'm from Brazil and I wanted to participate...

    It's probably some kind of law on gambling or contests that they're not allowed to participate. It's the same thing for Quebec in almost anything lottery/contest related.

    "Canada (excluding Quebec)."

    Canadians are frequently not eligible to enter US based contests either, due to various legal reasons.

    Congo was listed twice. O_o

    But there were listed countries from Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania. But from Americas? Only USA and Canada. From Mexico and down? Nothing (French Guiana counts as France). Also, China, South Korea and Japan (yes, freaking JAPAN isn't eligible for the promotion) isn't listed as eligible.

    Japan typically has their own parallel version of the contest, iirc.
