According to Mr Happy, seems the jp community wanted this change.
B-but... the fight isn't over just yet ; ;

Since he'll be on after 8PM EST, I hope he gets an awful connection to the server and has SE look into NTT's nonsense.
When I can get less ping to an Australian WoW server from east coast US than I can to the California based FF14 servers post 8PM EST that says something (and no it's not my net, I can play/download/stream, etc. with impunity, just the connection to SE's servers sucks).
Here's to hoping!

The matter is... There is communication and communication
The real one, we dont have it...
We have the shiny one, that makes hype, star in eyes, and kind of buzz, to finally, hide the dark things, those things they dont want to show/say...
With yoshida coming directly on servers, he works on making say "we have a dev that plays the game" (... so much other are doing this also, without crying it...)
but when we see some decisions (hello the greed only in raid 24) we have highly to doubt it finally...
This reason, i now only want 1 thing : acts
Dont care what he says, i want to see what will be done.
When he spoke, he made so much promises that we wait, after years... Only acts count for me

Oh, that will be really sweet!I'll keep an eye out for this! \o/

Personally I don't really get what the whole issue with this 'Greed only' thing is, especially with Eureka Pagos coming out a little after 4.3's release (I think it's safe to assume we'll be able to upgrade our armour further and that they'll be i360 or something and without a 'one piece per week' limitation).

1.) Not everyone cares for Eureka so not everyone will be relying on it for gear, or even have a full set of Anemos gear.Personally I don't really get what the whole issue with this 'Greed only' thing is, especially with Eureka Pagos coming out a little after 4.3's release (I think it's safe to assume we'll be able to upgrade our armour further and that they'll be i360 or something and without a 'one piece per week' limitation).
2.) New players will suffer the most. Catch up patches are usually great opportunities for new players, especially those that are gearing up a tank or healer for the first time. However now they will have to hunt that much longer because of the 'I don't want to ever play that role but want to have the gear' DPS players will be rolling against them.
3.) This so called 'problem' wasn't really a problem. People just needed to not be lazy and play the role that needs the gear. Again, why bother with the gear if you aren't going to play the job? The only issue with 24 man gear loot was the fact that you could run that place 100 time and never once see the piece you needed drop.
