All the examples OP posted would fit perfectly in the sort of fantasy world XIV has. The races that do have braided styles for the most part, in my opinion, they're not amazing. Some of the braided updos in those images would be great as they're beautiful and they would rarely clip in to gear.

I'd like to see stuff like these as well as what OP posted.

Who's joking? I can really see SE doing this considering the way things have been going. I mean look at the Distressed Manderville Attire being sold on the MogStation. It's obviously a cut off quest reward put up at the exact same time the Hildy questline was released where he's wearing it. It's not that far of a stretch to see them put up additional premium hairstyles as paid items on the MogStation for real cash or now that those stupid Moogle Coins are coming expanding their uses to pay for items off the MogStation.

It's predicting exactly what is going to happen sadly. Paying for stuff that should be obtainable game is old - the Mandeville stuff is exactly an example of that, it was going to be a reward then they decided to make us pay instead. The more we object to stuff the better IMHO.

Honestly...at this point, to get them in the game period, I'd consider having more hairstyle options if it was on the mog station, honestly. Just something more than we got.

I'd love to see any of those in-game, as long as they were unisex. I have very long hair IRL and it really disappoints me that my character can't have it; even if it were 'long' in an updo it would be better than the mostly short styles we have now.

MY favorites of the posted styles are probably #3 from the first post and #2 from the second, since they're quite long but also wouldn't cause much clipping.
