Pet items?

Why are there 0 pet items in the game? Especially considering the amount of minions in the game, on top of just the ones you easily get from the story quests, or instances.

Would be nice to have something like a pet bed, food/water station, something. I feel like it's little details like that, that make homes feel lived in, but the game is missing a lot of them.

Love the idea. We have Carbuncle furniture up the wazoo, heck your entire house exterior can be a shrine to Carbuncle. But does Carbuncle have his own bed, bowl, or any other means of comfort inside your house? Nada. I know he's not really a pet per se, but I feel like he deserves a dog bed at the very least. Maybe a little bird house for the scholar faeries.

I actually have the fox minion curled up on it in my house via floating.

I do like that some items can be set up into mock pet furniture, but it eventually comes down to the same issue a lot of people have with things like sinks: You end up having to use items that aren't 100% legit to mock up the appearance of something, sometimes using several item slots to do it, when it would be nice to just have 1 item that is meant to be the thing you are trying to create (mostly with like, feeding stations, dog house, etc. I can't even think of a way to make some items like that.)

I mean, why don't get have a cat tree or something, or as someone said, a bird cage?

I'd love if they just added a new indoor housing option called "Minion setting" that allows you to set a Minion (either a set one from your collection or whatever you currently have out) to wander around your home whenever you enter and maybe have a "minion Station" where the Minion will occasionally jump onto and stay there if its close enough so it looks like its interacting with the things around it

Yeah it could be like when you leave your chocobo in the stable, you can't access it anywhere else unless you take it out again. So essentially you could assign a minion from your list that just does random stuff around your house/apartments, and considering how many minions there are anyway there should be lots of possibilities. Probably would need to limit it to a few minions max (maybe 4) being assigned to roam the house, you can bet SE will have some kind of server limitation to remind us about.

An FC mate of mine said she wanted an option to have minions walking around the estate, as well. That would be pretty cool, but we know FFXIVs servers wouldn't be able to handle it.
