OP, the reason people aren't taking this thread seriously is because so many topics are created almost on a regular basis saying this exact same thing, that it's almost become a meme in here. People say this sort of stuff sarcastically.

There's several going right now because of the app.

People couldn't care less if you're leaving, and announcing it doesn't suddenly change the devs mind about whatever it is you're leaving over so why bother.

Doesn't surprise me. People said/did the same thing when jump potions were announced. I personally only unsubscribe from FFXIV if I'm just not having fun any more (thankfully I'm in a static and I enjoy the Savage raids with friends, so the desire to unsubscribe isn't there).
