Moogle Coins - What might they be used for in the future?

The new App rewards everyone with Kupo nuts for logging in; this limits the number of times you can access the Market Board.
However, they are also releasing Moogle Coins which can be bought for cash and will allow you to bypass the limit.

Moogle Coins can do the following on release:
- Put items up for sale or revise an item's listing.
- Purchase items

We also learned this, "additional services for use with moogle coins will be added in the future based on user feedback".

I don't have a lot of experience with FtP games and none with a currency like this but I've seen examples of coins in other games being used to make things like Ventures or Squad Missions take less time, or give increased rewards.

So, what 'additional services' do you think they might be thinking of adding to FFXIV and how would you feel about them?

Honestly nothing good can come from the coins and you need the nuts not the coins to do that stuff the coins just give you more opportunitys from what i understand honestly its not very well explained from what ive seen so time will tell

I could imagine these happening, some of the others would be game-breaking.
Allowing you to train the choco could be possible too.

So, you interpreted it as you'll still need a Kupo nut to access the market board and the coin just gives you more opportunities to list items, buy or adjust prices?
That wouldn't be as bad as the coin being basically a Kupo Nut you buy with cash. However, it's hard to know which interpretation is right. I agree, they really didn't explain it very well at all (in English at least).

Sigh, no. What does Market Board use do to make PVE content easier? . . . . Nothing. Exactly. It only allows you to buy/sell product without needing to log into the game.

Moogle Coins will most likely be used in the following.

Squadron,

Maybe watering plants

Maybe setting up a partyfinder that is set for a certain time like 7pm+ looking for members for X content deal so players using the app can join in and log on to meet up without having to first log on and wait.

maybe being able to play the daily cactpot/getting tickets for the megacactpot.

Triple Triad Tournament.(This one is a huge maybe)

Purchasing NPC items without having to go to location 1 coin=99 max or 1 piece of equipment which could be useful when a player doesn't want to teleport back and forth when crafting something specific or while using FC workshop.

Submarine/Airship usage. Being able to send them out and claim rewards without having to log in.

These are the most likely features that will be implemented with coins.

FastPass for DPS.

Garden tending is an obvious one for these, because it applies to something they can find on your account (homes you have access to), and it's time sensitive. I can buy something on the AH when I get on in three days, but if I'm not on for three days that will kill whatever I'm trying to garden.

Aside from that, Moogle Ventures where they come back with boost items like in every other P2W game. Because that's exactly what this kupo nut/kupo coin system is set up for. It perfectly mirrors P2W systems in other games, even if they're not specifically using it for that yet.

i did on french forum a troll topic where i suggest a premium sub for the forum, to go thru the 1000 character limit or post per day limit.
Maybe, with mogcoins we could do it. 1 mog coin = 1 post with more than 1000 character without edit!
