turbo controllers the new bot crafting?

This is stupid, how the hell are turbo controllers botting? -_-

I craft with my screen minimized, just jamming my X button, sometimes for more than an hour. Am I a botter just because I'm not boring myself to death looking at the screen?

Maybe if SE make a crafting system that isn't tedious as hell I would be more willing to play it properly.

The problem right now isn't the botters, because like you say its easy to just hold a controll in your hand mashing a button, you couldn't answer people therefor people will see you as a bot even though your not, the problem is the system right now, SE created it so its possible to do this and untill that changes you can't really blame people for using turbo controlls or hitting a button.

Botters are annoying yes, but if SE created a system that encourages it (with hitting 1 button / Turbo controller) then they need to make a big step in fixing it before you can blame players for taking an easier option.

yes, you are technicaly violating the terms of service and botting

heres a question, you are spamming your turbo control as you say

a GM from the task force investigates you, and sends you messages for an hour straight, none of which you respond to, so he bans you....

how do you explain that? do you really think "i was in another window with my control doing all the work for me" is gonna fly with customer service? or are they going to say too bad.

The problem is though, under those grounds they cant really punish you because IT IS possible to keep manually pressing a button with the window minimised, therefor theres no proof to say you weren't doing that.

Not going to lie... and maybe... JUST MAYBE I'm wrong... but I'm sensing some major irony here... You've had all 50's since like what? Aug, Sep? and a ton of 50 crafts before then. According to your little lodestone it seems you skipped out on a lot of job traits and bought a lot of stuff all at once... A lot of those 50's were during fatigue era too... You'd have to be unemployed and even then... have quuuuuuiiiiiteee a bit of free time and almost unhuman dedication to get all dem 50's.

You're pretty adamant about defending the TOS. That's good, very good! Bravo! I ain't saying you are a robot, I have no real proof. But compared to Mr. Fear over there... Your character seems awfully suspicious. ._.;

You are suppose to be looking at the screen crafting +7 lvls higher and trying to use your actions to get your quality up to get the 1-100% exp bonus taking 3-4 minutes per synth to get your 800-1200 exp

But instead getting 300-500 exp in 1.5 minutes spamming x is better.
Either will get you lvled at the same pace put the spamming will use double the mats and shards.
I use standard usb keyboard, the one that came with the mouse I bought together for $20.
Exploit or dont, either way, Get your gosh darn(not sure it I can cuss here) crafts up and make/repair your own gear.

I think the bot accusations generally point to those with all 50s because let's face it, you had to make a pretty damn good case to say you didn't exploit necro pages or crafting bots/exp glitches back in 2010/early 2011 since people were springing up with all 50s even with surplus and random SP rates.

in early 2011 it was alot more suspecious, that is definately true, i could usualy tell who the bots were based on how much progress they made in comparison to me on levels(when i crafted for 10-12 hours a day and they were making double the exp i was crafting, that was always extremely suspicious for instance)


by the time i had done it, i think i was like the 110th person to show up on pads with it or something, 2nd on server(which is amazing considering how populated besaid is)



but yeah at this point in the game, accusing anyone of anything based on their levels is a bit rediculous
HOWEVER, accusing someone who goes from 1-50 in a craft in a week is not....(there are those doing it)
