S-E Should add random QTE in the craft. If you click at the right time on the good key, you have a success for your normal synthesis / fast / audacious, if you miss QTE, the synthesis explode

SE created the issue, it's not hard for them to stop it if they want to.

SE could run a simple script that would check on players who craft non stop for more that X amount of time...
I don't see a problem with using a turbo controller. Even if it *could* maybe be construed as botting (my personal opinion is that it isn't), it isn't the type of botting that is as harmful as the RMT NM bots back in the old days of FFXI...

SE should make an automated system.
double or even tripple the exp needed to level.
that way its a really big gil sink and the botters get there way.
no one wants to sit and press enter all day.
it is not fun. you dont see bots for dow & dom do you? no because its fun.
this might not be the perfect way but i dont see any other helpful post.

Frankly, the use of turbo-controllers is a symptom of a problem, not the problem itself. Banning the use of turbo-controllers and not addressing what drove players to use them in crafting has the same effect of taking a weed-whacker to dandelions but leaving the roots alone for them to simply grow back again.
Draconian solutions like a consistent, outside check for player consciousness will only serve to treat them like a criminal to begin with (also will serve to piss them off) and win no new subscribers. As well, this will just poise another surmountable obstacle to the more sophisticated bots that do the real damage.
What needs to be done is to address the amount of grind required per lvl for DoH professions, put more power into the skills we learn to provide incentive to the players to be used (as it should significantly shorten crafting times), reduce the exp gained from crafts below the DoH's current level at the same rate (if not more) than what is gained from crafting above their lvl, place more situations that can happen during a synth on top of what's already in play (that said more powerful/new abilities could address), and to move away from RNG being the centerpiece in the process of crafting.
Those are my two cents on this issue. The players aren't going to change, SE needs to change the way they approach DoH or this cat-and-mouse game can only continue.

They need to add an Auto captcha that pops up at the begining of every synth. You have 10 seconds to enter it correcty or you get dc from the server and banned for 3 hours.
That sounds extremely tedious. Also given the about of times I mistype captcha with them being difficult to read sometimes I'd be getting 3 hour band quite often. That would probably be annoying enough for me to quit the game.

No, they need a crafting system that entices the player with a game that requires involvement and at least a minimal amount of skill, not stupid captchas.

I always thought that was a good idea... if you've crafted for 31 hours straight.... then it's either multiple people... a bot or you're not human....
hahaha F%^& you... I HATE Captcha... I love this game and I am a borderline white knight.. and I would instantly quit if that happened....
First of all.. Captcha blows the big one... second... Its a big middle finger to the people playing with controllers period....
I disagree... crafting by pressing one button repeatedly while watching a movie.. is that ok?To prevent 'botting' they just need to make it so the way to craft isnt simply 'press enter repeatedly', standard synthesis should move around in the list, meaning a bot couldn't predict where it is in the list, that way even if people botted, they'd loose mats and money, and it wouldn't be beneficial.
If, in an effort to hut botters, you hut legitimate players who are really just watching TV while crafting... then you fail.
i like the new system... standard spam for the win!!!!
