Duplicate drops for items already obtained. WHY?!

Why is this still a thing? Come on SE, It's one thing to make your loot drops rare it's another to make them 100% and repeated over and over, I can seriously be here all day repeating this first boss all day long.



Also, to everyone who is probably going to mention this, I get it; it's old gear and takes so very little time to clear those dungeons even solo 70 now it shouldn't be a problem. I'm here to tell you it add's up. I've got all of the Sipahi set but the gloves and I've spent 3 hours killing this first boss over and over in Wanderer's Palace only to get the same message. "Unable to obtained the stupid item name. You already possess this item."

Please SE, for christ sake if you're going to make everything else stupid easy by nerfing the content only weeks after it's release, the least you could do is fix your item drop system. I would even welcome a lower percent drop rate system to this.

Oh, I should add that in 24 man raids, no 2 of the same items should be dropping from a single chest. For example, I should NOT see 2 Void Ark Belt of Healing from the chest earned by beating the third boss in Void Ark.

There are eight party members. There might be duplicate jobs. There are quite definitely two healers. The only gear that should never drop double is tank stuff. Everything else is fair.

there could be a dps/healer with a tank secondary. first drop goes to the tank, second drop goes to the person rolling highest on greed, hopefully it's the person who needs it. Content can be run ad nauseum (provided it's not fresh) this is how they keep you coming back... by dangling that carrot!

That's true. However, the drop pool of items if the main issue. I mean, the "all greed" fiasco isn't making the situation any better for future runs.
