    Its that way because the map uses shared LB (high/fever is linked to adrenaline/personal lb). They made it that way because they didnt want to see teams of 8 melee mass limit breaking the big node when it spawns. Not saying I agree with it. Personally I think its obnoxious because inevitably someone who doesn't know/doesn't listen/doesn't care wastes your 2 bars before the node is up. Not to mention having a decaying limit break bar (yes, it decays when nobody is in combat) doesn't agree with the frontlines meta "let them fight lulz" and GLHF convincing anyone that mantra is incorrect.

    Whatever though, lol at this point ill be happy if the rotating maps arent filled with bots. Hopefully they stick to shatter /knock on wood.

    Actually, you do have a personal LB in Secure and have since they adjusted it for 4.0... Battle High/Fever have just been absent for whatever reason. Maybe the adrenaline accumulation increase you get from it was considered too powerful for that mode, because of the large drone, like you said, with the potential for melee LB abuse on it.

    I agree, though, I'll be happy to play Secure and Seal Rock if for no other reason than those modes being less bot-friendly!

    It would be pretty unbalanced if the current Secure had the Battle High/Fever mechanic. The point accumulation from bases are so low that people would ignore them altogether. All three teams would be at the center the whole match and try to build as many Battle High/Fever buffs as possible in order to dominate the DPS race on the big node. Again, unlike the ice in Shatter, you get all or nothing. It would be bad for both variants but even worse for 24-man. The big node has a bigger impact in 24-man than 72-man.

    They could balance this by doing what I wrote in post #9 and making so that you lose points if you die, including bigger point loss if you had the Battle High/Fever buff.
