Would it be possible to make a TP healer class? BRD and MCH have a MP and TP regen ability and in mixed parties it can be annoying placing which regen on which members. When I play MCH having a mostly TP or MP party made it easier to choose which buff for the party. But the healer ALWAYS had to be a MP and cast time user. What if you could make a TP and instant use, like a skill based, healer?! A job class from FF tactics fit this role, the Chemist. It was the only class that could throw items to heal, raise and remedy the party members besides a mage. And the chemist used a rifle much like the MCH so there would be no need to remake a weapon for that class, if needs be. While the items already exist and in our inventory the CHM(chemist) would have skills that prep healing abilities that require a skill cool down after use, like TP users. Prepping these skill can stack much like SCH etherflow, BLM fire/ice or WAR wrath. If CHM would not be a good title, introduce a new class, Medic!

It's not only possible, it's been suggested many times. Mostly for Dancer, but personally, I'm with you -- I'd rather see Chemist or something similar.

That said, a healer with all instants could be a little power creep-y....

i take your argument with the TP / MP regen issue AGAINST a TP based healer.

this will be just the next job wich manifests it's place in the DRG + BRD + MCH meta... especially when you give that new healer a piercing weapon as well...
