From a former game dev, 1 euros / 1 usd would have been enough to keep the app service viable and make most ppl buy it.
But 5 euros / 5 usd is way too much. That would mean paying 15 per month, not counting if you buy stuff on the monthly updated mog station or if you already pay for more retainers... it becoming as high as a full game each month to pay...

I missed the official announcement of this thing. Is there a concise explanation of this app, especially how the Kuppo nuts and coins work? I saw you can buy something off the market board. Is that anything?

Pay to win can be hard to nail down since there is no ultimate winning in an mmo. Some would say beating the current hardest content is "winning" but that is regularly changing and mmos are designed to accommodate a variety of goals. P2W in mmo's would seem to mean being able to spend real money to "achieve" goals that would normally require playing the game to achieve. By that definition this game would already have P2W in the form of level boosts and story skips.
