Houses on the mog shop when?
Houses on the mog shop when?

Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
A: [...]these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.
When it comes to this app I think more ppl would would like it if you was given more for the premium version, that didn’t affect the game like MGP, being able to do triple triad, or chocobo races from your phone. Things you know you would like to do but when you log in you just don’t wanna do it you have other stuff you could be doing. It would be away for ppl to get glamours and and maybe mounts and still keep content alive.
I'm sad that they said they'll want to give us as much inventory space as possible. But apparently all of it is locked behind a paywall in a sub based game.
I've said this in other threads, but it's worth repeating. It's very telling that a significant portion of each Live Letter is now devoted to advertising additional ways for people to spend money on the game. Meanwhile glaring issues such as the infestation of bots and win traders in PvP continue to avoid being addressed in a meaningful manner.

Not surprised they put saddlebag increase and a retainer that does not count toward retainer limit behind the premium to get people to install the thing. Extra inventory is always going to be a cash grab. We just got lucky they created and gave out a saddlebag to everyone free of charge before they found out how to increase its limit and put a price on it.

Good more P2W movements and practises. Premium upon premium. The Mog Station and the increasing prices over the years already gave a picture on where the game is heading.
The premium features are overpriced as expected. But what killed it is the crap mobile P2W special currency to do things and the obligation to log in every day.

It's probably a way to limit the increase so that the servers won't explode AND ripping off a few bucks while doing it.
In otherwords it's terrible, they should've never done it and it soured everything for me, don't even care if it's ok for japan.
I doubt the servers are in such a dire state. Square Enix make a significant amount of money and could easily redirect the money made from existing purchases into expanding FFXIV's server stability/capacity. Yet they've made it clear that they fund other projects with the money made from FFXIV.
